Does anyone know when this will happen again? My wife and I need to buy all new appliances (dishwasher, Fridge and washer dryer) and we were hoping to save a bit. I checked the State web site and could not find any info.

That program seems to have been more popular than expected, I think. Most of the major appliance retailers also had sales to sweeten the deal. We shopped at Sears for a new fridge and stove and were smart enough to go a few days early and put dibs (via paperwork) on the appliances we wanted. The first day of the event, people were standing outside 3 hours before the store opened. It was like Black Friday. Even with our choices and paperwork in hand, it took us four hours to get through the whole process.

So, if the state ever does that again, it would be wise to be well-prepared for the event.
