NC needs to get its "act" together. Unemployment is now 10.4%.

NC is now one of the top 10 states with the highest number of unemployed workers.

I suspect NC's unemployment level will be over 11% in 2012.

Guess there will be fewer folks relocating to paradise? If B of A cuts too many positions in NC the rate may just climb above 12%. I still think there will be another wave of state and school employees cut this June.

And a few more mergers like DUKE and PROGRESS ENERGY and it might get over 13%..

I believe the Corp. Tax rate was cut by current House and senate to 4.5%. If It was it didNT work too well. Maybe improving Roads and Bridges could help.
