To connect you to Hickory and I-77 I would strongly suggest using I-485, I-85 and US321 which is a limited access highway with light traffic. I-77 through Charlotte should be avoided at all costs. It is only two lanes in each direction between Charlotte and I-40.

I am getting so overwhelmed with looking at furniture online! Do you think if I hit the outlets up, there is a good chance of finding nice modern bedroom sets and sofas?
