Default sign of the times, quality not important

Too bad a lot of today's buyers are only interested in price because they replace furniture like they do autos. Long lasting top quality is of no concern if they feel it is out of style.
Our BR furniture is almost fifty years old and in perfect condition but is was not cheap when purchased in the sixties.
Can't say that about the crap people are buying from China.

People seem to fail to make the connection sometimes that a good quality bedroom set, or something else is going to last far longer then some cheaper knockoff type that is going to need to be replaced 2-4 times over the lifetime of the higher quality type.

Our current Government (NAFTA) trade laws could have prevented this closing. Shame on us for allowing unfair manufacturing competition by foreign countries.
