After contacting them on the phone multiple times in regard to my refund (a bit over $2000 filed early Feb.) and being promised that they will call me back with more information that they never did, I finally last week (May 15) received a one page letter from NC Department of Revenue Examination Division (Rhonda Melton) asking for bunch of documents in relation to my dependent and w2, 1099, birth cert, SS cards, marriage cert, ...
