The basic info is here: http://www.doc.state.nc.us/recruit/CO%20App%20Info.pdf You need a high school diploma, and there are screeening tests.

yes i am looking for an inside scoop, particually if the 4 weeks of training you have to sleep over like the state trooper acadamey which is 6months or you go to class 5 days a week but you go home at the end of the day

Pretty sure it's at the Justice Academy in Salemburg. They have dorms if you live too far to commute.
