I'm doing some research on Fayetteville, and I find the threads are posted in a few different sections. Where does Fayetteville fit in? Is it time to give the area it's own sub-forum?

I have most often found them in the overall North Carolina forum. As there are often military people relocating, I would like to see a separate forum for Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Sanford and the Sandhills. But that's something the moderators have to do.

There had also been a discussion of a separate forum for Greenville, but it hasn't happened.

Back in school they taught that Fayetteville was part of the Coastal Plain region of NC but most people tend to post about it on the main North Carolina forum instead.

The Fayetteville is part of it's own distinct area, know as the Sandhills, but the forum doesn't reflect that. Sandhills (Carolina) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
