We got what seemed like 2-ish inches in Chapel Hill. Friday morning was beautiful, though most of the snow melted by the end of the day.

None in Charlotte, thank goodness.

Today (1-19-13) I had to turn on the AC because my car was sitting in the sun and it was actually hot. Gotta love how radically our weather changes. Just 1-17-13 I was freezing and hating life dreading a snowy commute.

00z NAM 36 hr fcst looking good for 850mb temps, definitely cold enough. just not enough moisture!!! opposite of the last storm where we had plenty of moisture but warm temps. now we got the cold temps but drier air. ugh. still looking like my area (sandhills) are going to get an ice storm though.
