Downtown Durham's a cool place. Worth a visit, for sure. The best part is we can enjoy both DT's. Not really a competition IMO. Each has things the other doesn't. It seems almost by design?

Nice pics though. The best part of the "river" is up by the train car. Where Burt's Bees is(was) IMO.

My favorite thing in DT Durham is Tobacco Road Cafe. Sitting in the outfield is awesome. Especially during the fireworks show. Just don't get too close.

Kane Realty Corp.'s plans for a high-rise apartment building in Raleigh's North Hills - Triangle Business Journal

More high rises coming to the Mall

I do think that Greensboro and Winston have better downtown parks then Raleigh

I feel like Raleigh needs more water features downtown, Durham has the tobacco campus so it has the chill out spot covered.

So pretty! I hope those are Winston. My friend moved right near downtown Winston so I'll get to check it out more.

What's so special about it?

Is there a point to this?

Come get me when these proposals actually start getting built.

(Obviously I'm not really asking that question, just mocking you)

Not that anyone ask but it reminds me SouthPark has a lot of construction going on. My favorite being the Capitol towers. It won't be the tallest underconstruction in SP but I love the way they look

And doing a very bad job I might add, as usual.

No way would I put either Triad city in the same class as Raleigh, even though both have some pretty cool things going on within their urban core.

Why? Because I forgot to cite a forbes list ranking Cary #1 as having more juice boxes per capita than any other soccer moms could in CLT?

Or did I forget to do the can-can after stating that raleigh is building a 15 story "skyscraper" ?

I didn't say Winston was in the same class as Raleigh, I said it was nicer in my opinion. Nicer doesn't mean bigger or having more or having a better economy. Winston has a charm that Raleigh doesn't.

You seem to have a lot of issues with soccer moms. Living in Huntersville I would think you would get along well with soccer moms.

Maybe you're right. Given the fact that the Triangle is ranked higher in most areas. Maybe you should take notice.

As far as 100 Plaza goes. It's a nice size project. Clearly not "cookie cutter". Along with the other projects UC or starting in the next month a nice addition to the North Hills(Midtown) area. Those projects include Tower II,AC Hotel, the Cardinal,120 Dartmouth, and the aforementioned 100 Plaza. That's 2035 units in less than a half mile radius. As a fan of "density" I would think you would approve. Not to mention ALL the retail and office space coming along with it. Almost forgot about Tower III coming soon.

By the way I would bet real money that 120 Dartmouth and 100 Plaza get built before the Mint apartments. The seems to be one you were impressed with. Oh and the AC Hotel too. Make it 3 to 1.

Do us all a favor. Stop trying to be a smart ***. You're not good at it AT ALL. Stick to posting skyline pics. You're better at that son.
