Cranes means construction is going on. That means a lot of people from the counties that don't have jobs can come to Charlotte or Raleigh to work. I bet there are a lot people working on construction in Raleigh are
from counties that have few jobs.
Mecklenburg, Wake, Durham Counties are magnets for jobs for North Carolina. There about 20 counties in North doing ok and 80 wish they we and the 20 counties have is---Jobs.

While I think Johnny Harris was just being the ultimate cheerleader, that same level of confidence displayed by business leaders like him are the reason the NBA,NFL & events like the Final Four,DNC & Wells Fargo Championship came to Charlotte in the first place
