Must be a lot of crack smokers in Charlotte then, because that's not the first time that I've seen or heard someone from Charlotte make that comment.

With the fascination with cranes, maybe y'all should make a compilation of crane photos, and post the different makes and models of cranes!! I think that it would be interesting May even go down in history as the largest collection of cranes

I think there a 3 major hubs in the Southeast.
1- Atlanta #1 airport Atlanta region fortune 500 (16) GNP 294 (#10 US)B Alpha minusworld city
2-Miani #11 Airport Miami is considered a "Alpha minus world city".Miami has a Gross Metropolitan Product of $257 billion (#12 US) .Fortune 500 companies (7)
3-Charlotte #8 airport Charlotte Metro fortune 500 (7) GNP 139B (#22 US) a Gamma+ city (smallest hub)

Note: all fortune 500 companies are counted in the metro not city.

Cranes means construction is going on. That means a lot of people from the counties that don't have jobs can come to Charlotte or Raleigh to work. I bet there are a lot people working on construction in Raleigh are
from counties that have few jobs.

While I think Johnny Harris was just being the ultimate cheerleader, that same level of confidence displayed by business leaders like him are the reason the NBA,NFL & events like the Final Four,DNC & Wells Fargo Championship came to Charlotte in the first place
