I really like the images of the Raleigh skyline with the amphitheater. Nice view. Charlotte should have done something like this, I think it might be too late now with Time Warner Arena in town. Unless the venue was for less than 5k people.
There are quite a few venues for events but Romare Park Has an Ampitheater stage with Romare park having good capacity, NC Music factory has a proper Ampitheater so you're right, probably no more uptown. I actually would be upset if an Ampitheater like the one in Raleigh were built here. It looks like it has zero regard for street presence

In the Romare Bearden about how many can it seat? I'm sad to say I have yet made to the park. I forgot about the Amphitheatre in NC Music factory. It looks like I'll have to rescind my comment concerning that.
Seattle is throwing up so many 30+ story buildings, their local boosters can't keep up. I loveee Seattle.
Skyhouse II should be starting construction very soon.

Another huge CLT development. Charlotte airport will start construction on 25 more gates in 2016
Charlotte is already the 8th largest airport in the nation by passenger numbers. (Raleigh is 39th). This will really boost CLT.
And American @ CLT is the 3rd largest airline hub in he nation and probably close to that number for the world also. American has over 90% of Traffic at CLT
Charlotte from the North
There are around 240,000 living within 5 Miles of uptown.
I think you might be referring to the Metropolitan site, owned by the Levine Family. I'm not holding my breath but I do hope that it happens.
Yes & it's a huge maybe in my book
