You thought wrong. Though I have on occasion seen "valley" it's a perversion of the original quote.
Interesting. Valley seems to make more grammatical/metaphorical sense and maybe that's why the quote has been "perverted"...but upon some research it appears that the original quote does in fact use "vale".
LOL, my supervisor who's originally from MS but now resides in GA says this all the time.
see that is the difference: '(a)ppreciate it' is said in NC. especially the Charlotte/Piedmont area. and when i hear this anywhere it turns out they are from NC.
'ppreciate ya, i never heard in NC. Not to say that people didn't say it. just I never heard it.
