4/26/2013-4/27/2013 Lexington, NC BBQ Capital Cook-Off

I havent been yet but BBQ Capital Cook Off is different than the BBQ Festival.
It a little more smaller scale and goes over 2 days
Friday 26th
BBQ chefs will have competition
Live music from local groups
Wine Festival
Beer Tasting
And of course BBQ
Saturday similar to Friday except Special alct by Q104 and then awards ceremony.
Notable nearby places is Bob Timberlake Gallery, Chilldress Vineyards and RCR Racing museum

May 21-23 Got to Be NC Festival North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Free admission It's kinda like a mini State Fair! LOVE going!

Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival May 3-4. Sucks they only got some no-name country acts this year. Night Ranger played the fest a couple years ago. Night Ranger!

The team who won the Kings Mountain cook off last weekend will be at Lexington & Kannapolis. It's a husband & wife team from Cherryville.
