Some of the folks on this board think NC is full of backwards rednecks. I guess the OP is trying to show proof of this?

Yeah, no need to point out tractors to prove this. The actions (and inaction) of this year's legislature is all the proof you need!

Where are you from? Have you never seen farms before? How do you think that the tractors go from field to field?

Was the tractor in Charlotte or near Charlotte?

You can see guys on tractors in all 50 states. You can even see girls on tractors. You can see shirtless guys with backwards baseball caps in all 50 states. What was southern about this?

I think his tractor's sexy...

Well, those backwards rednecks keep us all fat and happy! I couldn't tell you how many tractors ride by my house in ONE DAY....cropping tobacco right now, and will soon be harvesting the corn.

Tractors are common. Gigantic grocery carts with engines......not so much. Saw this while driving down Highway 70 in Goldsboro.

May be showing my age and generation here, but I don't recall seeing ANY men on tractors shirtless in my day. T shirts, yes. Flannel/plaid long sleeves maybe. But no shirt? No. Who would want to get burned and blistered out in the sun plowing all day?

But maybe that is the way young folks dress on the farm now. Shirtless. It has been awhile since I have been on a farm though.

That would be the "Goodness Grows in NC" grocery cart. They take it around to festivals & grand openings and such to promote NC made products.

This was probably one with a sunshade--no worry about getting blistered....It may have even been enclosed w/AC & a radio!

I saw that in Sanford last weekend.

Can we find shirtless girls driving tractors with their hat on backwards?
