Hi all, we're looking to buy land in Gates county and wanted to know if anyone has bought a Mod home, who you bought through (dealer), manufacturer of the home and your experiences with both of them, dealer/manuf? There are so many dealers, manufacturers, models, etc. to choose from and we are just starting our research. I am looking to do an Energy Star home also and wondering about solar panels, wind for possibly going off grid or as much off grid as I can. I relish the possibility of selling electricity instead of paying for it, lol.

Also, any tips on buying Mod homes that you learned? Doing Initial research now, won't be building for 6-12 months. Thanks for the help!
