Well, I know of someone who told me they are not paying the whole amount of real estate tax rate, but, I didn't want to get noisy and ask if it were town or county taxes. I don't think this person has much money but they are over 65. So, why are you saying NO, what is your reason and where is your info coming from?

you might be right. Thanks! If I were in a county that excludes property tax and they deceided to change things, then I might lose the property. Think I best just make sure that I can pretty much pay the taxes, w/o help.
