It's good for teachers.

sure but sad for NC that we lose our teachers (most of whom are educated here).

I think it is great. Free Market at work. Income tax free Texas somehow manages to pay teachers more. Let's get rid of the income tax and pay teachers more here.

Houston? They have to pay more and search for teachers out of necessity. Awful school system riddled with gangs like MS13.

Not much higher. Certainly not high enough to not take a 50% raise. Not to mention Texas has no state income taxes...so there's an additional 7% you get to keep.
