Me and my friends planned on going to kings dominion this weekend but it's going to rain. We live in North Carolina and are in our twentys just wanting to get out of town for the weekend. Where is somewhere fun within 5 hours from Raleigh North Carolina we can go and have fun even though its raining??

The forecast for Asheville looks a little more promising--just a chance of scattered showers so they probably won't last long. Even if it does rain, there are plenty of great bars to escape it!

You could go to Carowinds instead. Looks like just 40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms in Charlotte.
