If you are going to have a discussion about something, one needs to understand what you are talking about. I don't understand why sex is a subject to be discussed in reference to educating children.
The person looking backwards in this article is not the person educating what the term means in educated circles of doctors. They are trying to force filth on the general public and they did not get it done because of one person who had the nerve to call them on it. When you pass a law you better know how it can be used. In this case no law is needed because sex is not something practiced in the classroom.
I agree the one introducing the bill was ridiculous.

You know what mental health professionals say about hair-sprayed old men who get their panties in a wad about "sexual orientation", right?
He's not qualified to use the DSM. Sheesh.
The APA has admitted that the DSM will be updated because version 5 calls pedophilia an orientation when it's really either a disorder or an interest.
Bottom line with that guy is that he wanted to introduce the notion that anyone who isn't heterosexual is a deviant and should be kept away from children, while maintaining the ability to deny denouncing homosexuality.

I don't think most classrooms has sexual activities going on. Sex and sexual preferences should stay in the bedroom. That's just too much information for the classroom. And please don't pretend you don't know what I am talking about. As the supreme court stated, we have a right not to have others slam their filthy lifestyles down our throats. Our children should not have to be taught something is all right when the Bible says it is wrong.
Do what you want to do in your bedroom but our children don't need to know the perverted things that go on in the world. And I am not the backward one on this thread. It is pretty basic to know the way we were created and the difference between a man and a woman. Most four year olds have already discovered the difference. Some grownups are just backwards about the way their bodies work.
And I do not discriminate against gays in any ways. Enjoy but do not destroy the natural way of nature. Leave our children out of it and if you have a child of your own, teach them anything you want to but leave my grandchildren alone. You have no right to teach them wrong things.
