All I can figure is that his mama never taught him that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones because she was so busy working at a job that payed her pennies on the dollar of what her male coworkers made or he's just plain dim.
Well, as he said, it took him 16 years to graduate from college.
I'm soooo sick of those ads & I'd bet the tv stations are too.
Are you kidding. There has been ~$60M with prospects of it hitting $90M before it's over spent on TV adverts in NC on this race this year. The owners of these TV stations are laughing all the way to the bank.

I worked in broadcast TV for 20 years. Political ad season was not welcomed with open arms. The law gives the political ads a cut rate.
$90M is a windfall. It might even be more than that before it's said and done. Hagan & Tillis are running almost constant adverts during the news now that early voting is getting ready to start. The TV stations are loving it. No doubt about it.

No the air time is being sold below the current market rate as per law. Most people I have spoken to are tired of the ads and are looking for other channels to go to. In the short term they lose money on air time. Time is money.

And 2012 could become wildly profitable for stations following the Supreme Court’s landmark Citizens United decision, which enables independent groups to spend as much as they like to influence elections. Analysts expect independent Super PACs to flood TV with cash, and stations can charge them market rates. How big is the difference? Super PACs often pay anywhere from 150% to 5,000% more than the “lowest unit rate” offered to candidates, CJR says.
Sure sounds like a bonanza to me.
