Why NC? No reason in particular. I am attracted to the greenery, the humidity, and the mild (compared to Wyoming and Minnesota ) winters. I know little about the state as I've only been there for 2 days of my life visiting Raleigh/ NC State.
Mostly I asked because there are probably other cities in other states more like what you're describing, so I was curious how 2 days in a place could decide you on moving to that state but still not know where you wanted to move.
I hate cities that don't even have a sidewalk on the major surface streets.
Many NC cities are like that, except Charlotte and parts of Raleigh, Wilmington, and Asheville.
