This is all so subjective though! It's like comparing apples and oranges.

Default Durham

Durham is both my favorite and least favorite city in NC. I love that the city is actively revitalizing, offers great college and cultural attactions, a baseball team, American Tobacco Trail, the best mall in the state, and affordable housing. On the other hand, the crime and schools are unacceptable in select parts of town, making it not the best place for my growing family.
It's easy to characterize towns that are homogenous, like Cary, but difficult with more economically and culturally diverse cities, including Durham and Raleigh.

Another favorite- Carrboro;although its a nice place to visit, I can't afford to live there!

Can I ask why some of you don't like Greensboro?
That was an area I was looking into.

Thanks, Tom
