I often thought when I saw the demonstrations for a living wage that they should be protesting against illegal immigration. I'll say it one more time illegals drive wages down. Want higher wages? Have the competition go home.
Then your beef is with your fellow republicans who hire illegals instead of 'muricans.

The stupidity of the GA and Gov. come out in this bill. It is a way to keep the base happy as the Flat tax turns out to be not so flat for 99% of the state.

distract from the fact that you no longer have deductions (a staple of helping middle class advancement), that your sales taxes have gone up as well as property,Real estate and all those nice new taxes on labor rates when you need a service. Don't forget all the FEE (GOP for taxes) increases.

Yes when the system which helped to move people upward is attacked look for the GOP.

I totally agree. There is an avenue to enter the US legally and more people need to use it rather than breaking the law. I do sympathize with the children who are here illegally through no fault of their own, but as far as I'm concerned illegals have no rights here and it's irritating when they speak out/protest. I am a liberal and a Democrat but definitely don't align with them on this subject. I have no issue with immigrants or anyone who wants a better life and goes through the process, but I too am sick of coddling illegals.

No other nation in the world (that I'm aware of) allows illegals in their country, not even Mexico. We need to come up with a plan for the ones already here to help them become citizens, but we also need to put a stop to the inflow. Other countries do it very well, so I'm not sure why we can't come up with a way.

So at what point will you be donating reparations and giving back your land to the natives?

I think the point might be: be careful when you think "Those people should go back where they came from."

Acknowledging a truth does not imply one must then take that truth to its illogical conclusion. No hypocrisy exists.
