Look at how many Democrats & how many Republicans went to DC before your party took over. Now look at how many are there vs which party got more votes.
Once again, look at a map. What is right about a district that added Gastonia & Asheville to Shelby & Hickory? Lincoln County is redder than red. The fiscal conservatives in Gastonia cancel the Democrats in Asheville. Losing Asheville in District 11 pushed it red.

As has been pointed on other threads about this topic, the gerrymandering done by Democrats was in response to the threat of a federal lawsuit due to racial inequities in our representation. It was done in an effort to make things more fair for minorities, not to give Democrats an advantage. Big difference between that and what the pubs have done.

ahhh, they did it out of the goodness of their heart.
The state constitution requires that it be done by the general assembly.
That's the case in many states. However, there's nothing stopping either party from putting up a referendum for voters to pass a constitutional amendment. Democrats in the late 2000s should have pushed for this, and Republicans should do the same as well.
Now that I have moved away from the awful Northeast where the Liberals want to tax me to death just for public education I am in favor of the Republican Gerrymandering. Keeps the stupid white folks in their fold because who wants to waste tax dollars on education? Not me I already did that up North and where did it get me? Two highly educated boys both making big money in the health industry.
I retired here for cheap taxes not to support kids who's parents could give a crap about a quality education.
As long as Gerrymandering keeps my taxes low I'm all for it.
Sorry for all the Liberals who moved here for jobs but the Repubs. are not interested in you or your votes.
One more thing, the Liberals are coming for your guns.
