Finally something we can agree on. Raleigh and Charlotte got a lot lol🤣. That's why this argument will never end. The booming population in both areas speaks for itself!!

Is Topgolf teeing up a second facility in Charlotte?

As Topgolf nears completion of its inaugural Charlotte facility in Whitehall Corporate Center, it appears the golf-entertainment company is teeing up to develop a second center in the Queen City.

My relatives currently own part of that land. They were less than enthused when made aware of TopGolf's interest in its potential development.

I'll repeat my earlier statement. True facts don't need spin,bs dose.
The SC State Fair isn't as big as Raleigh's but it's a great fair. Anyway, why is a comparison being made between the CIAA tournament and a state fair? That's apples to dragonfruit; they are in no way comparable. Two totally different events and while the state fair is definitely a plus for Raleigh, Charlotte has Carowinds which is open several months out of the year.

That's your opinion. The comparison was between both cities two largest annual events. What's not apples to apples about that?

Comparing a downtown major block party to a state fair is different.....That's for sure. Also, the CIAA is not Charlotte's largest annual event. Speedstreet is Charlotte's largest street festival and it's one of the largest street festivals in the southeast. The free concerts is what made this event very popular. I'm not certain, but I think the concerts aren't free anymore now that Circle K is the sponsor. I remember seeing a free Bell Biv Devoe concert at Speedstreet 8 years ago.

Today, it's still a popular party with quite a few concerts.

Because they aren't remotely close to being the same type of event. That's pretty self-evident.
