"(Reuters) - Rock star Bruce Springsteen on Friday canceled a concert scheduled for this weekend in North Carolina in protest over the state’s new law....

If the NCAA would act, the law would be changed immediately because NC loves its college hoops.

I couldn't care less for his music.

But for the people who have to change their plans at the last minute, they may be more angry with him than anyone else. He probably should have made a statement during the concert if he feels that strongly.

Uhh, this is a bigger statement. His fans know and understand what he is doing. And he probably doesn't care if he loses any fans over this. He sees it as a bigger issue than himself.

Exactly, making a statement during a show is not taking a stand.

Canceling his show is taking a stand and sending a message. That's why he did what he did.

I'm amused people for HB2 are condemning EVERYONE else.... Telling everyone why they're wrong. Telling all the job creators they're not wanted. PayPal, good riddance. Shove it Bank of America. Multiple shows in Charlotte alone canceled will cost CLT thousands of lost rooms booked equaling 20 million to the economy alone. But supporters of HB2 think everyone else is wrong....

HB2 hurts everyone in this state, but do keep trying.

Honestly when I see the people trying to defend HB2 I can only think of this internet meme.
