It's maddening. The Republicans have moved so far to the right that they are no longer beholden to the people of this country or to common sense. The party that is ONLY alive this election cycle due to fear mongering refuses to curb fear in legislation.

You're not making any sense. The fear mongering legislation was curbed...

Someone just committed the largest mass shooting in modern American history. Wouldn't you agree that terrorists having access to guns is a legitimate fear? Moreso than men in the bathrooms with little girls, anyway?

Think about it - Republicans want to limit women's access to LEGAL procedures, but are all for suspected terrorists having free-range access to guns.

If there isn't enough information to charge someone, then they are innocent until proven guilty. You and I could be on that list based on relatives, websites we visit or where we travel. It violates the 5th amendment and the right to due process and is inherently racist.

Trump, Cruz, and Rubio just destroyed the party. It's beyond crippled now. Only thing keeping it going is the baby boomers who want to good ol days of the 60's to return. Never going to happen.

Other than thread title this thread has not mention anything about the two senators or anything North Carolina related to the topic.

There is a forum better suited for this type of discussion with ongoing threads on the topic
