Early voting poll locations & days were purposely set to suppress Democratic voters. The voter ID law was passed to do the same sort of disenfranchising.
Any operational "sting", whether real or fake, is nothing compared to the lengths the Republicans will go to tilt an election by tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of voters.

So Democratic voters are not capable of voting or getting a free ID, but Republicans and Independents are? I don't believe that.

It's called "voter suppression," and is a Republican game: make it as difficult as possible for people to vote through reduction in voting places, redistricting, etc.

In NC a disproportionate number of minority voters have been purged from the voting records. This also happened in Florida. If a letter is sent and not returned within a set time, that person is removed from the voting records. AFAIK a Federal Judge ordered that some of the names be reinstated. One woman whose registration was challenged lived Belhaven NC for 100 years. I can't imagine trying to block a woman that age from voting. It's shameful. A Federal Judge called the latest record purge "insane." I heard on the news tonight that the DOJ plans to send election monitors to 4 NC counties.

NC will stop at nothing in its fight to suppress the vote of certain people.

"A federal judge in battleground state North Carolina has ordered conservative state officials to restore thousands of people back onto the voter registration lists after they tried to illegally purge them from said list.

Judge Loretta Biggs said that a citizen’s right to vote “cannot be sacrificed when citizens through no fault of their own have been removed from the voter rolls” and ordered the state to put the names back on the voter list. The state was also forbidden from striking any other names off registration lists."

Several states do not permit early voting (7). Some of which tend to consistently elect Democrats. So are they suppressing the vote?

They're preventing early voting for everyone, not just democrats.

If a state like Pennsylvania or Michigan decided to only have polling places in the blackest, most poverty-stricken neighborhoods to disenfranchise suburban voters, or to have vastly reduced hours and polling locations in rural areas, it would be a more equivalent comparison.
