House votes to adjourn 58-45. Senate would still have to vote to adjourn for the day #ncpol

If there's one thing businesses, developers and financiers abhor is uncertainty. The General Assembly has just shown themselves to be the most uncertain of partners. This one's going to leave a mark.

The 6 month cooling off period allows no new local legislation before the primaries which now includes the state legislators. That being case likely a strong democrat will seek to out seat Jennifer Roberts.
The rural House republicans vs Urban on the stall of the repeal of HB2. With the primaries looming and pressure from religious groups, I expect a weak repeal or a repeal followed by revised morphed version of HB2

Also ordinances enacted before Charlotte are RESTORED in Burgers bill.
