Puhleeeze. I'll wager the majority of residents both IN and OUTSIDE of NC oppose "bathroom measures" such as the one passed by Charlotte and which started the whole discussion.

But, thanks for weighin' anyway, Clark.

What do you take us for? Fools?

We all know "bathrooms" was a smokescreen ... HB2 was about abolishing fairness laws and anti-discrimination measures against GAY AND LESBIAN PEOPLE. The number of transgender people is not that significant, but the Gay and Lesbian population are a noteworthy segment of the population in case you are unaware.

How is it that my city of 1.6 million people had an ordinance that is exactly like Charlotte's supposedly "dangerous" city ordinance and in all these years we have had not one single report of a crime taking place in a public bathroom by someone who is or posing as a transgender citizen??? Huh???

That's right, go ahead and demonize Gay and Lesbian and Bisexual people, who make up the largest share of citizens in the "LGBT" community.

Besides Charlotte have you seen other much bigger cities like Chicago or New York or LA or Boston or Philly rushing to overturn their LGBT inclusive city ordinance? Huh?

This is how the mainstream media works, and this is how suckers are born. For every person against HB2, there is a mother or father that was happy that North Carolina took a stand for the rights of families and children despite the current political climate. Most people have not read HB2 and don't know what it is. They are just blindly playing for a team.
Stop using we. I am a Native NC person and do NOT agree with it.

And if any business DID gain anything from it, then they are free to express their opinion. There are plenty of conservative bloggers to pick up that story. But, none are mentioned.
