This morning’s article in the Goldsboro News-Argus talks about the CSX hub that’s being built in Rocky Mount and it’s future impact on Wayne County, as well as potential development along the I-795 corridor. The extension of I-795 from Goldsboro to I-40 near Faison could also be accelerated due to the CSX hub.

Some downtown Greensboro construction photo updates.

Steven Tanger Center. Won't be long before exterior walls start going up. Just think a year from now this facility will open with its first Broadway show. One thing to point out. The Tanger Center will probably but just as successful as DPAC. Season ticket presales for the Tanger Center are setting national records for a new performing arts center.

The main entrance is starting to take shape.

Construction fencing for Project Slugger office building

I'm so thrilled they are going back to building it at 9 stories. Sometimes delays are a good thing.

Starting on the third floor for the Hampton Inn and Suites at Greene and Mcgee Street. Technically 4th floor. Its called a 6 story building but it actually has 7 floors. However its 8 stories tall with the top portion of the building

Getting close to finishing the remaining apartment buildings at Carroll at Bellemeade.

The webcam view of Ally & Legacy II

Looks like Legacy II is about to have its first floor poured.

Uptown, year after year, seems to be putting a huge distance between itself and the other Carolinian cities as far as sheer size, population, every metric yearly.

Can’t wait until Charlottes new 3rd tallest starts to make a dent in the skyline in the coming months

This California burger joint opens its first Charlotte restaurant this week.

The Habit Burger Grill plans to open its doors on May 2. That 2,800-square-foot restaurant is located at 209 S. Kings Drive, across from Target in midtown Charlotte. It is the brand’s first restaurant in the Tar Heel State.

The first 50 customers in line that day will receive a limited edition 50th anniversary T-shirt and free Charburgers with cheese for a year.

Habit Burger is known for its chargrilled burgers and handcrafted sandwiches made with USDA Choice tri-tip steak, grilled chicken and sushi-grade ahi tuna cooked over an open flame. The menu also includes made-to-order salads, sides that range from fries to tempura green beans, as well as shakes and malts.
