How can property taxes go up 110% in one year? The land will not perk for septic system. What actions can I take against Granville County?

I would guess that you are referring to a recent revaluation. All counties offer a process to challenge revaluations. Here is the information for Granville County: Appealing Real Estate Tax Values - Granville County

I have successfully appealed valuations in Franklin and Davidson counties.
