Does anyone have a copy of the study guide they could post here? The link above is still valid but it no longer links to the actual study guide full of questions. I literally fear for my husband next week having to take the test LOL.

When I first came here, I got worried by all the people who said the test was so hard. It was quite easy and if you don't know the answers you probably shouldn't be driving.

However, you can also pull the drivers handbook from the NC DMV site at http://www.ncdot.org/dmv/driver_serv...DL_English.pdf

Here is the archived version of the Brain Dump:

I took my written test about a week ago, and 100% of the questions were on the first page of this document.

I just read the book one time and got a 100%. It isn't bad. My suggestion is to hit skip if you are uncertain and it will go to the next question. After I got 20 correct (whatever the number is you need to pass) I was done. I never had to answer the couple of questions I skipped. Also, review the road signs. I took the test 3 years ago and back then they had you look at blank signs and tell the DMV person the name of the road sign.

It isn't hard when you go over the book. I barely read anything in the book just looked at key points. Told my husband to do the same when he had to get his license this month and he too passed easily. It certainly is much easier now than it was 12 years ago when I got my first NC drivers license.

This here is the most brilliant thing ever thought about. Saves time and useless effort especially for those of us who already had a license from another state. Taking the test over again here in North Carolina I agree has not made NC residents the safest drivers around. No offense. I had to retake the test yesterday and this study guide helped me out a 100%

This isn't working...can anyone post another link to it???

Edited to add that it's working again. Must be experiencing temporary issues. I was afraid it had been pulled. Thanks anyways!
