Case in point right here, people playing politics like it's a team sport.

Well I don't really see how relevant our local Democrat only reps are to 9/11. Say your morning prayer and be done with it and back to work, no need to grandstand.

1/3 of the D's somehow managed to be present. And the others? According to multiple news reports, were:

Even if they decided to blow off work for a 9/11 event, that still doesn't make it OK.

The only thing that isn't ok about this is the deception of the republicans.

The only thing scary is what republicans are doing to this country.
Well 1/3 decided to come to work. Some blew it off and went running, or whatever other excuse they could come up with.

If 0 had shown up, maybe one side would have a valid point.

Record low unemployment. Record low minority unemployment. Falling trade deficits due to increasing exports. A strengthening dollar. A confident consumer.

If this is scary, I hope I poop my pants. I just hate all this #winning.

Implement line item vetoes and that resolves the entire problem. Why NC doesn't do this, I don't know...

This wasn't a "win" as it has to get through the Senate.

This was a pretty despicable move by the state GOP but I'm not surprised; it's who they are.

Quit talking about "showing up for work". They're not factory workers punching a clock. Its a part-time, citizen legislature. The republicans are abusing the system for purely partisan reasons. They need to stop. period.

Oh please. The reality is slowing job growth and manufacturing output, falling consumer confidence, skyrocketing deficits, a trade war thats pushing us towards recession, complete chaos inside the white house, no cohesive foreign or domestic policy. Thats winning? Umm, no it isn't.
