My husband and I have been dreaming of moving to NC since the day we set foot on her land back in 1995. We have visited often, almost every year, to different areas including Asheville, Cherokee, Franklin, and Dillsboro. Then, back during Florida's "year of the hurricanes" in 2004 we 'escaped' to Mooresville and fell in love with it! Since then we have rebuilt our home, put it up for sale and are patiently awaiting the market to give us a break! We have been back a few times to visit and purchased land and are always taken back by the friendliness and helpfulness of the city's people. We are moving to an area that actually has the address of Statesville and our youngest child will be attending a school called, if I remember correctly, Celeste Henkle Middle School. We purchased land on Buffalo Shoals Rd. Does anyone know the area, or the school? Is a good area? Good school? I could do more research but the best information is always from word of mouth. Thank you! Any information would be helpful!
