AMEN!

If McCrory had signed a paper, we'd have a casino functioning right now.

sb - I thought that McCrory would reign-in the "slightly-to-the right of Attila the Hun" NC legislature, but they ended up doing exactly that to him. He comes across as a "wishy-washy, whatever you want Pa" Opie Taylor, who "protesteth too little" even when he diametrically opposes their wishes.

Perhaps Cooper will grow an even larger set and tell the NC legislature to "stick it where the sun don't shine" on some of their inane proposals.

Well, Emissary, I'm hoping that all of the people remember what he's done & not done. The Kings Mountain casino is supposed to make 4000 jobs, & that's just to start. But payoffs from the Cherokee Nation are more important to him than jobs for people. The Catawbas aren't asking for one penny of incentives. But then NTE didn't ask for any incentives & he blew off the groundbreaking for that. But NTE is going to be serving Kings Mountain, Concord, & several other towns that are currently Duke customers, so I guess that will negatively impact his pockets.

The core of McCrory supporters will always support because of Guns & God and national debt levels. No matter what.

The urban counties is where he will really bleed support. I believe Obama & McCrory carried Mecklenburg by decent margins. I would be shocked if McCrory carried Mecklenburg again.

(Though to be fair, McCrory has shielded the urban counties from policies like tax redistribution)

Unfortunately government does not work too well by "telling."

Until the legislature is cleansed expectations could not be lower. I expect McCory will win handily, not that that is a good thing, but if Cooper wins, all we will get is more animosity. And juicer headlines!

Lose - Lose.
