that was embarrassing.
Most of these calls come in as Private Number on the caller ID. So, a call comes in this afternoon as a Private Number and as no one who regularly calls here shows as Private I figured it was just another political call. I answered the phone and was talking to DH at the same time...telling him how I was sick of all the messages on the machine that needed to be cleared off so I was going to answer and hang up when the ad started. After a long silence the ad still hadn't started, I heard someone say "Hello?"
It was someone calling to hire my kids for a job. Oops. I apologized and explained about the relentless calls, she completely understood...LOL.
