Thanks for the info. I will check the state website to see if I can find out some more information about the payscales. Someone told me that private schools pay teachers more than public schools. Does anyone know if this is true?

From teachers I know, private usually makes quite a bit LESS than public, and in these hard times, I would imagine enrollment in private would decline, and therefore money for salaries.
