I'm looking to find a nice safe neighborhood on the West side of I-40 and North of Topsail. I need a hospital close as I have health issues. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I40 runs East-West, so things are north or south of I40. Did you mean I95 or I77?

You did what I did at first, lol - you forgot about I40 down by the coast, where it does run north/south. 'course in western NC it is only east/west

West of I40 and north of Topsail doesn't look like much until you get to Fayetteville.

Yeah, with those two being the extreme ends I just meant closest to north of Topsail and west of I40 It's kind of a strange request, lol.

How far north are you willing to go? Farther north you've got Benson, Dunn, Smithfield and Selma, although not all technically west of 40 by that point since 40 curves inland.

Default I'll tell you what I'm looking for:

We have friends in Topsail but we don't want to be to close for comfort And we would like to be 45 min to an hour from the coast. A small development with sidewalks. Like I said before needs to be safe and not to far from a hospital. Thanks again.

Well, Topsail is about 45 minutes to 1 hour from New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
