I need to re-take the computer test to get my NC Driver's License. The first time I took it, I didn't even know I had to take a test, and needless to say, I was unprepared and did not pass. I have to go back and take it.
I got the book and am reading that.
Question for anyone who ever had to do this before: are the questions the same every time you take it or do they mix up and use different random questions? This may be helpful and help me be less stressed about it. Thanks to anyone who can answer this for me.

Random. But if you study the book for an hour or two, you'll do fine. No worries!
If it's in the book, know it. It will save you troubles down the road. As you drive more you'll see more examples anyway. I had to take the test this summer, it was fairly easy.
One tip that might be useful is that you don't have to answer every single question, you just have to get 20 (I think) correct. So if you see one that you absolutely don't know, skip it. If you don't have enough correct at the end after skipping them, they will give you the chance to answer the ones you skipped.
For example, I'm better at remembering the actual road and driving rules rather than all the questions that contain numbers (how many points for this violation, how many years for such and such), so I skipped ones that I didn't know right off the bat and stuck with the ones I knew right away. I had no problem passing and did not end up having to answer any of the ones I skipped.
People I know that studied this and the DMV book said the site was better and they shouldn't have bothered with the book.
I used that too, when I moved here from NY... I was about to go through that big book that looked like War and Peace. I skimmed through that site, and passed with no problem. I think I only missed one, and that was because I wasn't paying attention.
and memorize all the signs in the back, and know what to do if your brakes fail going down a hill, which way to turn your steering wheel
