Speech Language Pathology/Audiology jobs in Charlotte/NC (Huntersville, Earl: transfer, schools)

Hello, seems like a few people have posted job related lead inquiries here. I figured what the heck, I'll give it a shot, it won't hurt (I hope).

My wife is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), she works with/in early intervention (ages 0 to 3 years old) and has worked in this field for about 10 years (she was a former marketing drone in a high tech company in Boston and was completely unhappy, went back to school, got her masters, makes peanuts IMHO, but is very happy, hence I am happy ). I checked the licensing requirements and fortunately her MA license is completely transferable.

So, does anyone have any leads to SLP jobs specifically in early intervention (this might go by another term as well) but not limited to early intervention? She's open to working in the school system, but truly enjoy working with the little ones.

She's wiling to travel within an hour radius (drive-wise) of South Charlotte.

Mike - While I certainly do not know the answer, I would suggest going to the hospitals in the area, the individual websites and see if there are any internal postings or the individual schools (while each county has a website, I've learned so does each school). Also, I do not know if there is an association with this type of jon (ie- AMA) they may be able to assist in your search too. GOOGLE it.

Hi Mike,
I myself am an EI (Early Intervention speech therapist). There are quite a few companies that are in this area that specialize in this area. I currently work for Pediatric Theraplay Speech Services Inc. I cannot more highly recommend a company.
