I'm currently in the process of moving up to Fayetteville to work as a teacher, there are a numerous positions open so I haven't nailed down an exact school.
I'll be moving ahead of my husband and with my 2 month old son, I know crazy but the job market in Florida is horrible and we just can't afford it anymore!
My question is for help determining an area that is considered safe to rent, as I said before it'll be me and my 2 month old. I don't care if it takes me an 1 hour to get to work each day but I'm looking for a place that offers good daycares, safe neighborhoods and nice apartments (by nice I mean in good shape, good parking and clean). Price isn't a concern, neither is distance, I just want to feel safe and comfortable.
I guess if I have to I could also bring our German Shepherd, I'm sure he'll help make me feel more comfortable!
Thanks in advance for the help!!!
Also if you know of any other counties in NC that are in desperate need of middle school math teachers AND actively hiring, let me know!
Plenty of nice safe apartments in town. You should not need to travel an hour.
Knowing where in the county you will be teaching will make it a lot easier to recommend someplace.
Apartments and dogs are tough to match in this town. You might need to find a house for rent.
The family and I have been in a nice apartment complex near Hope Mills for several months while we sold our old home and have a new home built. It is in the SouthView School District. I would recomend our complex is inexpensive ($650-700 2 bedrooms 2 baths), safe, not too fancy, has decent pool.
