A Charlotte Muslim mom said she feared for her life when a man pulled up to her car as she breastfed her baby at a northeast Charlotte shopping center this week, glared menacingly at her for several minutes and pulled out a long gun with the barrel pointed directly at her."
Sad. Despite the many good things Charlotte has going on, there are also many dumb rednecks there just as in the rest of the state. I am sure the greater Charlotte community will rally around this woman to denounce this kind of moronic terror.
Terrible thing....but I am little perplexed. Apparently she was wearing a hijab and abaya according to the Charlotte Observer. So I guess I am little surprised that she is concerned about covering her hair and wearing an abaya which
does not accentuate the body, but she has no problem potentially exposing her breast in a public setting????? Very unique concept of modesty.
We keep hearing that there is a massive uptick in "hate crimes" but when investigated, they show that there is a massive increase in hate crime hoaxes. If this story is true I really hope they catch and prosecute the guy. If it's a hoax, I hope they prosecute her.
It seems like the writer of the article should have talked to the other people mentioned in the article as witnesses and report what they say they saw.
I guess over the years I've become more skeptical of such claims as many have turned out to be hoaxes. If true it is certainly dispicable. If not, she should go to jail!
