This is what I'm hoping. Of course...if this is true...they would actually end up owing alot of us money...because alot of us got paid less each week during those 13 weeks. I know I was paid like $10 less each week...so if they're really going to transfer that to remaining EUC...then they're going to owe us a chunk of change...and not us owing them thousands and thousands of dollars.
well the site indicates that to be the plan
i think since that was posted AFTER the letters went out, that seems to be the most current info
AND the only logical conclusion
SOME LIKE ME, will end up owing some $$ now ($91 for me) BUT get more weeks in the long run
since the tier programs are federally run, i dont think NC cares too much
but its still a mess
and im going to call b/c every time i wait and see? they drop the ball
This still makes me worry. I was on tier 1 of my 2nd benefit year. I don't know what I am suppose to still get or what I was entitled to. My current status on ESC says I may benefits are EXHAUSTED. Are you guys seeing the same that I am? I guess I should still file tomorrow for my benefits, correct?
YES i say exhausted too! but what ill do is try to file after 12 tonight and see
and then, NO MATTER WHAT call NC in RALEIGH in the morn to be sure they have it fixed
and MOST LIKELY they dont and i will have them try to fix it over the phone and see how it works out
I started collecting Jan 2009. I've been collecting 530 every week since..
so in 2009, you used...26 UI, 20 Tier 1, and 6 Tier 2?
thats if you started collecting 1/1/09. thats 52 weeks.
shouldnt you be replacing the Year 2 money this year with the balance of Tier 2/Year 1, Tier 3, Tier 4, EB (20 weeks)?
thats the neighborhood of 47 weeks.
Mine says Benefits Exhausted too...so yup...we all seem to be in the similar predicament. The big question is...yes, can we keep filing? I don't think I've ever successfully filed whenever my benefits say exhausted...so I'm not too confident.
I thought they were closed on Sunday and have only been open on Saturdays in the morning under special circumstances, like when Congress had just passed the extension and they needed to get everyone current, could be wrong though.

I have no idea what tier I am in.. I file online. I received the same amount everytime. The last couple weeks it's stated that I have <2 weeks remaining. I continue to file and the check continues to clear... i don't question them because I figure they were doing everything correctly. I was called in during the last extension and had to show my job search documents... other then that I haven't had much contact with ESC.
