Not even a word on EB...Just that the republicans have it in the budget. But the whole time he's stating its the most terrible budget ever. Getting really pissed off now!!!! Part of me just feels the whole situation with us is being kicked down the road, then it just gets lost with all the budget talks. Meanwhile 50k people lose there homes, cars and some cases there families.

Sacflies, I have my opinions, that is for sure. But my opinions are supported by evidence, by facts.

If you want to talk specifics, I'm very willing to get into a rational discussion with you.

It's up to you.

Default Pub's are in control

After hearing the Dem's I believe the republicans budget will get vetoed by the Governor but overturned. I wish the democrats could do more to get a stand alone bill. Another month will be unbearable!

I just don't know what else to do? We all have put so much time and effort in our own ways, just to be kicked on down the road another week...Or 2, or 3, aw who cares they are saying, "theres jobs" go get one. Start over in another state, move in with family, goto salvation army, lose your car, get your house repoed, quit bothering us, we have more important things to do with our time....

Actually what Bias do I have? I am an independent, I hate both sides equally. I have enough money to last me until my fin aid kicks in for the summer, so I am not as affected. So exactly which bias am I blinded by...

Short and simple, if the repubs would put out a seperate bill (and lets not kid ourselves the budget and UI are 99.9% unrelated) it would be put through the system in a day and the benefits would be pushed through. How exactly is Perdue responsible for the UI situation?

You can continue to point fingers, however you have yet to push through any theory on how Purdue is to blame. There is no comprimise on this issue, both sides want it, atleast claim to, however Perdue has 0 ability to put it out, where as republicans have full ability.

So by what that press confrence was about...

This budget is worse that the House's, so the DEMS wont support it. (99% chance it wont pass)
Our Unemployment Extension is in it, and they seem to ensure it stays that way.

I just wish these people will live a week in our shoes.
