July 1st is now in site. I know it has been a long time coming, but we should see some money flow by 7/10 if the budget is resolved with some time to spare.
House 439, what is the effect, budget wise? It seems that until September it does not cut any spending, unless I am missing something. It basically puts a freeze on all pay raises and increases in spending. Any thoughts? We have spent so much time on the senate bill we have not looked at this one.

Reading the article, they have made more of a compromise don't you think?
Will it go through. Also if it does, don't you think we will see something before July 1st. Gosh I hope so.

I hope so and I would think that they know people can't really hold on much longer. Some people have no other alternatives in they lose the roof over their heads.

I do think so, but I also think it will go back and forth a bit before it is final. Then it will take a bit for the ESC to get back on the ball, hence a little wait for the checks to start back up. I am still trying to project a REALISTIC time frame like I have said for the past 6 weeks!

stillunemployed, it should take no time at all for the ncesc to get up to speed, the system is almost completely automatic. Once they have the new info, and enter it in, we should get the checks almost immediately.
