I've always been a big supporter of eating freshly caught North Carolina Seafood. It's fresher, healthier and taste better than farmed raised or imported.
Here's another reason why you should always ask forlocal, wild caught:

You can always ask the restauarants you patronize if they import or fish come from a fish farm. Depending on the item if it is in season and is fresh from the coast.
