Just looking for some advice on where to go in NC for engineering jobs. I'm from MI and the economy and weather sucks. I sold my house and graduate in Dec. I'm moving to NC in Jan with or without a job. I've done alot of research so far and it seems that Raleigh(triangle) or charlotte is where to go. I want to live on a lake and close to parks. It looks like that covers all of NC
I want to be in a good downtown area. I live close to detroit and i'm sure nothin is that bad in NC but are there ghetto area's that I want to stay away from in either area? I'm 28 and single so I want to be around good bars too
