Quickest dmv (Charlotte, Gaston: license, area, counties)

Hi guys, I am trying to get my license and I hate waiting in line in charlotte area and was wondering if there any quick dmv that I can go to. Is monroe a good one? And what should I expect when I take my license over there. I don't wanna drive that far the closest one is only monroe since I'm on the east side of Charlotte.

Go to any of the 100 counties that have not had a high transplant growth
and go when they open
