I am a fresh-out-of-college graduate moving down to the Fayetteville area (from NE Ohio) for my new teaching job which will start in only a COUPLE OF WEEKS!!! I've been doing some research on the area and have decided that living in the city is not my best bet (safety-wise). I am a young female and want to feel safe living on my own (renting an apartment). I've been looking at St. Pauls/Hope Mills... Any ideas/suggestions/comments? Max commute time desired = 45 minutes (Preferably not driving through Fayetteville because of traffic). ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!! REPLY QUICKLY... I'VE ONLY GOT 2 WEEKS! THANKS!!!!

Benson and Dunn area may be?

Harnett County is sort of RURAL..

Don't personally know about area south of Fayetteville, possible someone will have ideas.

Are you teaching in Fayetteville or on the outskirts?

There are some nice sections in Fayetteville I hear, just not sure where.

Look here for some insight..

You might want to try getting some recommendations from your principal or other teachers, too. Good luck!
